The consent of data subjects

The consent of the data subjects is one of the 6 legal bases, identified by article 5 of Law no. 1.565 of December 3, 2024 allowing personal data to be processed in a lawful manner.

Article 2 of this law defines consent as:

« any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the data subject's wishes by which he or she, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to him or her ».
