Scope of application of the Law

Pursuant to Article 3, the Law no. 1.565 of December 3, 2024 applies to the processing of personal data, fully or partially automated, as well as non-automated processing of data contained or intended to be included in the files:

• implemented by a data controller or processor located in Monaco, whether the processing takes place in Monaco or not;
• relating to data subjects located in the territory of the Principality and implemented by a data controller or processor outside of the territory of the Principality when the processing relates to the offer of goods or services or to the monitoring of the behavior of these data subjects.
