Geolocation of vehicles provided to employees

So-called geolocation devices enable employers to know the geographical position, at a given moment or continuously, of their employees when they are on the move.

While these devices can improve the services provided by data controllers by enabling them to optimize fleet management and improve operational efficiency, they are particularly intrusive for employees.

Their use must therefore be strictly supervised to avoid any excesses on the part of employers.
