{"id":20583,"date":"2025-01-15T12:03:53","date_gmt":"2025-01-15T11:03:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/apdp-mc-stage.jupiter.cdigital.fr\/?page_id=20583"},"modified":"2025-12-18T11:28:35","modified_gmt":"2025-12-18T10:28:35","slug":"the-right-of-access-and-how-it-is-exercised","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/apdp.mc\/en\/apdp\/fact-sheets\/all-you-need-to-know-about-the-law\/the-right-of-access-and-how-it-is-exercised\/","title":{"rendered":"The right of access and how it is exercised"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Article 12 of Law no. 1.565 of December 3, 2024 grants <strong>anyone who can prove his or her identity<\/strong> the right to obtain <strong>confirmation from the data controller as to whether or not his or her data are being processed<\/strong>, and if so, to have them <strong>communicated to him or her in a readable and comprehensible form<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is known as the <strong>right of access.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This right is generally exercised <strong>directly <\/strong>with the data controller, but it can also be exercised <strong>indirectly<\/strong>.
